There's no right or wrong way to take notes. It's what you believe is enough for you to either remember a certain topic or be able to refresh yourself on something. If you feel like your memory isn't great do more. If you need the extra details to maybe explain something to yourself, add it.

If you feel you just need commands and can get an idea of what the note/topic was about simply from a command and how you used it do that.
