Parrot7 by default uses wayland, which is not very well supported by hypervisors. Try changing to x11 (on the login slick greeter screen, there's a white dot, click on it). If you are on virtualbox is probably a great idea to install virtualbox-guest-x11 i'd imagine there is probably an equivalent for other hypervisors too
