I've added the recommendations for Splunk, but don't overlook the other tools covered in the SOC path. Make sure to take notes, especially for the commands.
Everything you need is in the course. The main goal is to understand how to search for information and really grasp what you're doing.
Make sure you have enough time in your schedule: whether you're a student or working, just working every evening might not be enough (100% sure). Also, manage your rest time well!
One last thing : don't forget about your report, pay attention to its format, what you need to present, and highlight the key points.
Finally, don't hesitate to see some review on the internet about CDSA. Research is also an art.
