It did help me get a job, but then I live in a country who cared about this stuff, and I was applying to a company that cared about this stuff (a little bit)

In general it's better and more honest to just reduce the answer to a temporary, albeit strong: No.

And it's rather competitive here too, we have our own HTB equivalent, it's crazy.
