When I run LinPEAS to check for potential privilege escalation paths, it shows dozens of red highlighted things (like files owned by root, world-writable paths, etc.).
Do I really need to check every single one of them? It feels like too much, and I assume there should be another way.
Also, when I look at walkthroughs for HTB machines, they always say “run LinPEAS and you will see this file.”
