I recommend HackerOne. Much wider range of programs, and much higher average rewards, plus it's a better platform overall. I regret that I started with YesWeHack in a way. I haven't used HackerOne myself yet, mind you, but I'm recommending it because I think it's a better to start with.

Well, BB is much harder than a regular pentest or CTFs IMO. If you don't have solid skills, you may find low hanging fruits if you're lucky. But lots of beginners will be looking for those. Most of them make the same mistake though: they learn about a bug type, typically IDOR or XSS, and keep spraying payloads everywhere hoping that something will work. 😄 Don't do that. IDORs are everywhere and perhaps they are one of the easiest to test for, but for XSS for example you should learn properly how JavaScript works but also why something doesn't work in a given context. Don't make the same mistake of spraying payloads everywhere. It rarely works and it's mostly a waste of time plus you won't really learn why a payload might have worked

But generally speaking, if you are starting out, I would recommend testing for IDORs and access control issues in general. Most applications have them, especially apps with different roles and permissions.

That's difficult to say. It's quite subjective and it depends on what skills and experience you have, what you are most interested in, and what you might be better at. But generally speaking, I always advice people to forget about hacking until they have developed a solid understanding of web development, since that knwoledge and experience will pay big dividends in the long run.
