using AI to compile your notes is just as bad. Recompiling your notes manually helps you spot things that you may want to include external research for. Not sure what note taking solution you use, but Obsidian is great for notes ¯_(ツ)_/¯

exegol can be installed on practically any host: windows, macos (including arm), and multiple linux distributions. i personally use it on macos (tahoe arm) and gentoo x86.

i was talking with shutdown and we discussed specific scenarios where qubes os makes sense for red teaming, because it leaves a very small footprint and enforces strong isolation between compartments, thanks to its hypervisor based design. that isolation helps reduce lateral leakage and makes detection and forensic analysis harder in some operational contexts.

in day to day use i also do not consider qubes os ideal for everyone. it has maintenance and ux tradeoffs. however for journalists, targets of apts, or operations where minimizing footprint and maximizing opsec are requirements, qubes os can be an excellent choice.

the takeaway we want to communicate is simple: exegol works on any os and adapts to your needs. if you need strong isolation and opsec, pair exegol with qubes os. if you prefer convenience and performance, use fedora, arch or macos and enjoy the near bare metal experience while keeping workloads isolated in containers.
