Well it’s a pre requisite so you have to take the path regardless right? What I’m saying is, that if your only exp in offsec is ejpt currently as far as an exam goes you’ll be diving into the deep end of a cold pool with the cpts
Regardless if you do the course or not
So to acclimate yourself to the exam format
I would start with an intermediate step such as the pnpt
And then even the cwes as an example
So you get used to the exam format and filling out detailed reports
First time taking an exam like the cpts is not a time to be disorganized or not used to it
It would be a detriment imo
Not to say people don’t do it

If you want free practice for what you have now outside of taking an exam
Download sysreptor look at the templates
Particularly the one for cpts
And use it while you solve boxes and fill it out
This will give you a good practice for flow on how you might fill out one
You could step it up a notch by using the same template for the aen
And if you want to step it up further could use it for a prolab etc
That’s only if you want or need the practice of course
