• Is it an evasive engagement? By all means hide everything, do everything manually, it's harder but it's quiet

I use the black-box method: Learn something, without knowing exactly how it works, then learn another thing, and another thing, all the same way. Then when you feel like you've gone sufficiently wide in what you know, go deep on one thing, then the next thing.
