So cool will done . Did you made it using WLED ? How did you achieve to display a picture . I'm working with Hub75 with wled image display . it's too complicated . But yours it's wonderful 👍🏻😉

Yeah pretty much just said it’s a 320x64 display. Then I mapped out each 64x64 to each display, then photoshopped a 320x64 picture to match the correct displays

I'm making the same but I don't know what is the best way to display picture . Because WLED is not support fully crazy The amount of LEDs it's too much to handle .

It’s in the guide

You have to upload it with USB A to USB A or USB A to C vice versa which worked for me

It does say it’s limited but the WF2 board does 320x64 no problem

It says max is 120x64 but this board can handle the bigger load no problem

Yeah I've checked that board its good. But for now I only have ESP s3 . 16MB flash + 8MB PSRAM

MatrixPortal M4 is pretty good too

But I don’t have a 3d printer rip so I just glued it lol

Hot glue isn’t bad I had the panels aligned wrong at first some were upside down make sure to see the arrows on the back of them

The top one doesn’t matter which way it’s facing really

Huidu LED Art app on phone it’s easier to use and you can just send programs and make your own very simple

1-4 are chained together then 5 // 6 if you add it

1-4 are sides 5-6 are top // bottom

This is not going to work with hub75 very well . The max it can handle 32x32

You need to join it's WLED Moon module

So to sum up, wf2 to work with this mobile huidu app, or esp32(sometype) to work with wled, no gifs supported

If you want WLED gif HUB75 you need ESP32 S3 specifically that Bin file that in the previous chat and flash it but if you want easier option and much reliable with GIF go with wf1 or2 or 3 Or4 depends on the chain .
If I choose between them for GIF I will pick WF

I have to decompile the wf2 firmware and probably write and code in a function for it. Then solder a microphone to the few GPIO pins on the wf2 board

I’m trying to get the cube to work with 2 portable batteries for a phone wired in parallel because 1 power bank doesn’t have enough amps to run 5 panels. I mean I can get it to run with one power bank but it’s not really ideal

Right now it’s just ran through a power supply

For charging I think make it wireless if it's possible so you cannot disassemble the whole cube

Same with WLED full brightness if it's not enough current it will shutdown

Just lower the brightness down

Yeah even with lower brightness it still kinda bugs out sometimes not enough amps to send data and some of the panels start flickering and stuff

Power supply is most stable right now

I don’t have bottom panel because idk how to run the power cable out you can add portable power banks inside that’s my next goal to make it powered by that so I can take it to music festivals and stuff lol

If it's possible make it wireless charge or powered like coil you will have 6 panel

My option is for six panel without disassembling for charging 5 amp wireless transmission and receiver will be perfect .

The gap between the panel and wireless charger will not work

It would have to be magnetic like iPhone

Or anything wireless because it magnetic and even 2cm spacing won’t cut it

You’d have to open it up and charge the packs manually then yea

Or 3:2 ratio too if you use 5 like I do

Would be the best option since the panels run off 5v no problem just wire a usb C or type A connector for 3 panels
