Two of the most difficult pieces I've ever had to make.
After a lot of soldering and adjustments to make room for wires, boards, battery, LEDs and more LEDs, programming everything... we reached the end. It has two buttons, each with 3 functions for each different color, there are 179 LEDs in each, separated into 3 segments, each one programmed in a different way.
The discs start in select mode, and stay that way until you choose your side
Welcome to the grid.

We need more infos!
Most impressive.
Dude I can’t stop watching that video. Holy shit man!!!
Need to bring this one with you.
Looks flawless! Great job. Obviously with my username I have to comment 😉 Is the fine segmentation of the inner ring the product of the LEDs you're using, or is that part of the diffusing structure? Makes me think of the rectangular LEDs, very era-appropriate.
It's part of the diffusion structure, so I have the inner LED ring, its a ws2812b ledstrip, which lights up on both sides, and these "covers" on top help to diffuse the light.
@terse sapphire Do you have pics of the inside? I'd love to see how it's all hooked up.
You can see more of its construction on my Instagram, @terse sapphire, I helped another guy who had the same doubt, about how it was done inside
