Our Livingroom 🙂 The rig at the ceiling is 2.5meter by 2.5meter.
2 WLED Devices, one for the rig, where WS2815 are pointing down and other WS2815 LEDs pointing up. The other WLED device for the TV horizon and the showcases plus the light in the corner where the couch is. I doubled the LED stripe on some points to get more outputpower 🙂 All LEDs are 144 per meter.

Yes, i am a event technician 🙂 So i have this rig since 25 years, it started with normal 30 watt bulbs and changed again and again over the years. So with WLED it is the latest update and i guess it will stay for a long time now 🙂

everything looks fire btw

I was considering hanging trusses in my livingroom too but unsure about the layout

#

also, I have no idea how to anchor it to the ceiling properly

Truss is usally made out of aluminium, so it should not too heavy. I simply have 4 hooks, each in one corner. In my gaming room i have a single truss which also looks nice 🙂 I´ll take a picture, hold on

#

i attached the LEDs directly to the truss. You can´t get a better cooling ^^

sweet!

#

did you do a similar trick with the led strips around the ceiling as you did in the corner?

#

they flood out a lot which i what I want as well

yes, i have always LEDs pointing up against the ceiling and LEDs pointing down. So there is no optical lens in front of the LEDs so they emitting the light pretty wide
