A suggestion for the wires at the wall joint is to use masking tape to hide the wires and then paint again (with same gray), the closer it sticks the cables to the joint it will create an "invisibility effect"
woops didnt see this reply sooner, i actually ran some thin white wiremold strips above the left side and where those wires going down are.
my parents actually want to do a similar project now too except maybe without the rgb, i think i may try to get them to do the crown molding that has led strip tracks in them instead because it would make all of the mounting easier.
still a little bummed that i had a bad chip that i had to cut the end of the led strip off that ended up making it just that foot or so shorter but oh well, its still 90% there
Thats better!, was only a sugestion 😉
If it's only one bad chip you can cut that pixel off at the cut line and resolder/connect the remainder of the strip back at the end?
hmm I can't actually remember what I did now lol, but I do remember soldering and it being difficult even just while everything was loose, I'll keep that in mind though. can really solder very easily with it being mounted now.
