Well, that's complicated. Usually, look on the internet for patterns for a specific skin to have an idea which pattern is good and which is bad.
For example: for Haunt series (Fang Haunt, AKR12 Haunt, G22 Haunt having 2 claws is perfect, having 2.5 claws is even better but having 3 is insane) I have an AKR12 with 3 claws which is insanely good and I would say quite rare, the positions could have been better but 3 claws is 3 claws. I'll post the picture with a reply to my other Haunt patterns (forgot to reply to the message with my other patterns but I'll post a link to both.

I haven't seen any patterns with 4 claws so they're either inexistent or they're very rare. Rarer than obtaining a nameless item from the luck reward after a match has finished.
