Plasma pistol and either the magnum or dmr are great combo weapons

If you by chance ever go back and play 4, the plasma pistol works the same on the knights and such in terms of breaking shield and should be good for the headshot damage as well. Only problem is that their character models are so goofy that landing consistent headshots can prove to be a pain until you get extremely proficient at it
