Have you played the event from the first week on and completed all the mission ever since?

It’s not a problem. The original week the rewards were limited to seven rewards for the week. They changed it to ten. So total amount you can get is 27 as of now. 343 will announce the more dates of the event at a later time.

They wouldn’t reset peoples tiers to add more tiers. Logically they would just add tiers from tier 30 to tier 40 or 50? Then add rewards. Thats unlikely considering how they originally had Tenrai where you were limited to seven rewards the first week it made sense it was there for six weeks.

The Neon event only had ten rewards/ten challenges and no other weeks. It’s limited however 343 could bring it back for the people that missed it. It’s more of you are either there unlocking it or you miss out.

Granular coating was from an old nabisco promo which is no longer active so no dice. Aside from Monarch it's the rarest armor coating in the game so expect to spend at least $500 on it. There's a listing on ebay for Monarch coating at $2 grand lol

Hm, honestly, all of the Chiefs I have have been pretty consistent quality-wise. If you're only looking to buy one Infinite Chief, it'd be more of a matter of appearance and accessories rather than quality. Series 1 and "2" Chiefs use a pretty light shade of green with some meh battle damage. Series 3, Walgreens' exclusive, and 20th anniversary Chiefs all seem to be the same shade of green with nearly identical heavy battle damage with the series 3 Chief not having a reflective visor. Series 4 Chief is basically the same as series 3, Walgreens' exclusive, and anniversary Chief, just without the battle damage.

I heard that series 1 Chief has QC problems, so I might've just gotten lucky with mine.

Gotcha. One neat thing about series 3 Chief is that he does have the Grappleshot as an accessory that serves more as a play feature, but also has a more scale accurate one molded onto his arm without the string dangling around. I'm surprised no other Chief has the Grappleshot molded on.

Looks like the Monarch coating has what I like to call “plastic armor”

The NW Sky (Funko) coating has the same effect, all the armor bits are very clean and matte like a plastic action figure

as opposed to the scratched, metallic look that most armors have in the game
