I got lucky last year, was able to get an evga 3070 at launch, then built rest of the PC. Main reason I wanted SFF is because I knew I would be moving soonish (wish I did) and wanted something to fit in my carry on. I ended up with a microATX build. I think the issue I was having back then was the small power supplies and the one case that everything did fit perfectly was out of stock back when I built it. I do agree that prebuilt is way to go, unless you have some amazing luck.

I’ve tried multiple times also. What finally worked for me was last week. Tuesday GameStop drop I got to cart then page loaded and said sold out. I left it in cart and didn’t refresh the page. Then Wednesday they dropped again so I didn’t have to do any more page loads. Just checked out from cart and that made the difference. Crazy that bots are so bad loading a page can make the difference between getting one or not

Yeah, that’s my experience exactly. I have an elite 1 I got used on eBay well over a year ago. No stick drift at all. Rubber was just starting to come off though. I broke a shoulder button recently and replaced it (and jeez, the replacement ones look like such trash!), and opening it made the rubber get worse…
My elite 2 started drifting really bad so I sent it in for repair, and they sent me one that was just as bad or worse out of the box
Different serial so they replaced it, too
So now it’s going back for another replacement
The good news is it extends my warranty, and the biggest improvement I think over the elite 1 are the paddles which work just fine on the 1 in the meantime anyway… but still this is not fun 😦

personally I like the zvezda armor because it looks really cool with the helmet attachment but I advise not buying any more points a large amount of people are keeping from that in protest to all their microtransaction probs and prices and armor core locks like what I mentioned with the coatings for example
and honestly most of the store content is crap
its like a monopoly between quality of store content and varying other issues and they feel like they can get away with it

i find the most worthwhile things to be vehicle skins, AR, Sidearm, BR
those weapons because theyre the things youre most commonly going to be holding time wise
