and yeah, from what i can think of is that all stores that did get pre-orders got two images, one with the two armor coating icons and eventually one with the armor displayed and one or two guns on it as well, but some stores only put up the first image and/or text

yeah, but isn't that the point of a pre-order? they can queue the amount of people that want one. Instead everything is sold out. There is no way to buy or pre-order anything. You can't even put a down deposit and say I want this. You can't even say I want this by this date and i'll pay for it and if you can't deliver give me my money back

They could even put up a site for a little more transparency and show the count down time and need for each part that way it puts a hurry on those people maybe even helps other's see and move to help reinforce those areas so the next company doesn't face such a problem

There is soo much they could do. Instead it's just like they say "let's sit on our hands and hike up prices that way we can benefit from everyone else suffering"

depends on how you think of preorders. are you preordering one for a specific date? (like what is being done here) or are you preordering like with the steamdeck where youre preordering for a que slot and may get it years down the line

They have sold out all the systems that can be produced by the release date so thats it. unfortunately not much can be done most likely. unless you want to get your halo system in 2023

and the idea of showing your BOM with expected delivery dates etc... yeah thats a firm no from management as thats gonna annoy your vendors, you know the people actually giving you things so you dont want to be on bad terms with them. Just like you dont insult the person making your food

Been going through there and you guy's are a gid send. But im having trouble with cura and my ender 3 because everytime i go to print the printer splits up areas on the print to add unnecessary supports

Try tinkering with the overhang settings. Personally I don't change it from 45 degrees

printer supports are a pain. Check your support settings, I usually go up to 60-65 degrees depending on the printers capabilities.

You can also use the support tool and add and delete support tools to your liking

if youre having trouble with supports just tell cura to not make any supports? make your own custom supports in something like meshmixer instead

when making custom supports you basically are just using a program to add stuff to the model for printability. you can move the supports around till youre happy and think itll print well without causing issues with removal or loss of details
