Working on an airsoft ODST set including: Build in full body cooling suit. Helmet fans, live gun cam view in helmet, IR and thermal. Obviously fully impact rated. Visor mechanically bonded instead of chemical, steel mech covering fan ports. Jun armour is next, but I will be using a proper motorcycle HUD then. Next will be switching to full face HUD

I'm really sad with how the Halo Infinite Mega Construx stuff turned out.

The Chief's new figure reused molds for everything except the AR. The entire body is the Mark IV Chief, just recolored and with a reprinted 117. The only other differences are Reach Air Assault shoulders, and the Bungie Mark VI head.

It would be such a cool figure if they made new molds, and it just makes me wonder why they didn't make new molds for such a major figure.

It's also kind of a bummer to me because they could have made it much more accurate by just reusing the Bungie Mark VI chief and giving him the mark IV shoulders instead. The Air assault shoulders don't fit.

The nail in the coffin for me is probably that the Jazwares 3.75 in Chief has a really accurate sculpt for the same price you can get the Mega Construx one.

My Spartans hands tend to break when ever I put a gun in their hand

Personally I'm not so sad about the chief collection set.

I have the Halo 3 Heroes Chief, the Heroes CE Chief, The Exclusive 4/5 Chief, and the regular Infinite Chief.

If I have to be honest, I prefer both the Halo Heroes 3 Chief and Infinite Chief to the ones in that set. The Halo 3 one in that set is so dark in coloration, and the Halo Infinite Chief is too dirty.

The regular Infinite Chief is really affordable and cool too.

For MegaConstrux collectors in Australia, as you may know there aren’t many options here to buy sets from from a store and the series itself is basically dead here. I contacted Mattel Australia about why they stopped stocking on shelves and if they ever have plans on returning. They replied with this

Mcfarlane had codes,but they were all junk req packs of random bronze and silver stuff

McFarlane's stuff looked good but their later figures sucked.

With their range of motion they may as well have just been statues.

I liked Mattel's attempt at 6" figures well enough.

Or at least my copy of their Buck turned out pretty decently.
Wave 1 seems to have been kinda crap.
Too bad their distribution was awful. Probably didn't help that Toys R Us died around the time they started really hitting wider retail.

Jazwares's 6.5" line at least looks promising.
