Also, which version. Legends hyperdrives were more realistic and had limitations. Canon basically has nothing to it, they're near instantanious and without required direction (see the jump from Krait to Canto Bight and back, well over 90,000 light years, done in under 24 hours)

There is work done on the muscles and bones after all, they lengthen them by a couple inches at least.

Theoretically there'd be no way to tell a Spartan apart when they were in armor, and the Nylund descriptions indicated that, aside from someone like Halsey who had been with them for decades, no one could.
Wasnt any external numeration on the armor either.

Only headcanon/fanon I seen that became canon are those that stem from the Encyclopedia 2009 scenario, very "fun" stuff, the rare times ARGs interact with people IRL, ship designs (just the designs), and that one time an author used Halo Nation and got the wrong lore and boom we are stuck with the Engineer rate.

I'm surprised at how people say Del Rio is somehow this super incompetent failure. His decisions aren't necessarily perfect but he doesn't really do anything supremely incompetent or illegal. And he's technically right in regards to Cortana, considering how one mission after her outburst she's already starting to fall apart seriously enough that it affects the mission (like when she almost traps the Didact at the end of Shutdown, leading indirectly to the composing of Ivanoff station and New Phoenix).

I just made an amazing realisation. In Reach, you only start fighting Brutes in the last half of the campaign, and they’re first introduced going after a city which would be mostly civilians. Perhaps Truth wanted to use the Elites to soften up Reach and suffer casualties to make them weaker for the upcoming schism?
