CE anniversary: graphics were icky, soundscape was fine, but thats all that changed. needs a remake because anniversary has little to offer over original. Three added missions out of an entire game of levels. To me its a CE + replacing with modern graphics and gameplay + dlc.

CE remake: modern halo with CE's story. We had hijacking already, sprint already, energy sword sentinel beam fuel rod already, now we can use it in CE. It's a new experience via collage.

H2 anniversary: cool new graphics

Potential H2 remake: Tons of cut content which would be great, but CE anniversary isn't adding that much cut content. Pretty graphics but we already have that. Only thing I can see being added is modern gameplay mechanics, but we don't really need that.

It's quite interesting to see how back-porting things like Weapons, Sprint, EMPing, and Hijacking could really mess with the game dynamics if everything around is not tuned accordingly. And from what we saw, a lot of stuff was not, as well as their own comments about extending the maps for Sprint. It hopefully can be sorted with community feedback now, and in a constructive way

I think there is some skepticism to have about it being remade specifically for PS and how that may be a backdoor lazy way to try and get people in, but it may not have 0 bearing. Who knows how the reception of this reflects on the future of Halo and what they're planning. And there could actually be things in this that is worth talking about, but we haven't seen the whole game to know yet. Right now, it's the perfect time to tell them how we feel and provide constructive criticism, so that maybe we can positively affect the game, and if PS users do get to experience it for the first time, it's somewhat more in the realm of what actual Halo players would want.

To me 5 was the one that didn’t really feel like halo. It was fun but I think it just felt too fast.

What brought it down in my list was the campaign though. It was the Only campaign that I actively dislike and it’s purely because bad Cortana.

For reach I honestly can’t judge it based on the mp because I didn’t play it at its peak. My rating of that game is based purely on campaign alone.

I’m a bit through the second Halo novel, The Flood, after reading all of Fall of Reach.
Obvs there were some things that were retconned in Halo Reach.
I was going to only read the first 6 novels (Reach, Flood, Strike, Cole, Harvest, and the sixth one I can’t remember), cus they all came out before Halo 4, before the lore did a triple backflip into a different storyline and all.

But I will say that imo the flood is the weakest of the ones that I’ve read, and first strike is amazing.

It uses the whole first game as a base, and follows it nearly step by step, plus some extras.

It’s also a tiny bit more organized than this normally. The switch is usually in the dock on the left side of the desk, and I don’t generally have the iPad mini set up like that.

I mean when it’s that much it’s really hard. Like if you look behind the switch and the iPad there is a HomePod mini, and a charging stand.

Then on the top I have the stuff you see but the green light is an hdmi switch with 4 ports on it that are all full so that’s 5 gdmi cables right there including the once going out to the monitor, hence why the switch isn’t actually plugged in to the screen.

I’ve just managed to hide most of the cables with zip ties, tape and an elite controller case.
