There was a few pun suggestions that I and my team trashed. But CEV and HCEV tended to be the route we at Halopedia opted for as we needed something unique

Halo Studios on the other hand seemingly opt for HCE as based on files they have uploaded.

@GS_Maxxx @MartyTheElder Actually the music is dynamicly generated from stems, so it can seamlessly blend between different moods in different locations or when combat starts. But it does need time to get from one stem to another, which sprinting breaks.

Well fans don’t really appreciate that it’s a bit rare for an IP to so consistently preserve the older titles in their original forms, so instead of being content with the original CE still being easily playable and allowing the remake to have creative freedom since it’s not intended to totally replace the original, instead they’re just wanting the same game they already have but prettier with no other artistic expression

The reason ~why~ though is more for an on-foot tutorial of facing them. With the additional prequel missions, maybe there's an on-foot hunter combat in there, or maybe one of the original levels before Cartographer has been retooled with a similar encounter.

Maybe they will add the rock back, or maybe they already have plans for introducing hunters in a similar way, we won't know until the game comes out proper or they speak on it. I'm not sure if it matters either way because with the way the pistol worked and looks to still work a bit, they weren't exactly tough to beat.

What I’m guessing is that they decreased the spread of the AR and nerfed the ammo, but added the Avenger which performs more in the SMG role
