• Retro Lancer for the AR slot, unless they really want to add a chainsaw melee
• Gnasher or Longshot for the second weapon

because i was about to say.. Halo infinite has never been better with the direction its going right now. I'm going to SORELY miss it when the undead mode returns.

That made halo infinite feel distinct and special compared to all other shooters out there. Focusing on the factions and these large-scale conflicts in space set it apart from everything else i've touched recently!

I've barely even begun to explain it, but the basics are basically that Cortana's entire philosophy for why she's activating the Guardians and enacting the Mantle of Responsibility is a combination of her fracturing after death and her similarities to her mother's cloned brain.

Cortana activating the Guardians is out of a misguided attempt to control and order about the galaxy to stop war, which means cracking down on warlike culture and silencing dissent... Which is pretty much why Halsey made the Spartans. She's basically pulling a Halsey on a much, much grander scale, which is to say, she's committing horrible acts to save what she views as a horrible future.
