I dont remember the timing on it (there was some controversy here) but basically as long as you had the skin you had to login on xbox (console) to get it in black, but cloud gaming = logging in on console.

Similarly for FN if you redeem an xbox specific skin, you have to first login via console to get it added to your locker which you can do via cloud gaming
