this doesn't make it better, this is like a bandaid solution for the problem. A gun being easy to use and "everyone having it" doesn't account for individual player skill, which ironically makes the game more sweaty because of the increased pressure, because now everyone's too effective. and that guy who's really good is now even MORE effective. combine this with the fact that in infinite literally no one takes 1v1s and almost every fight involves 2 or more people, and its a recipe for disaster imo. Team shotting happens in every game, but bc of how halo works its even more prevalent.

I only considered the tech and the weapons that the ships are equipped with

ships with shields might be a problem but this isn't a new problem for super earth because of the illuminates, and also ships having lasers which can counteract the shield
