Unfortunately every time Halo falls under a new developer title they want to move further and further away from the old games' identity

With 4 it was the art style and loadouts and character scraps, with 5 it was the art style, weapons, Chief erasure, and monetization in customization, with 6 it was the art style, weapon sandbox, monetization in customization, gamemodes, complete campaign overhaul, etc

At least 5 remembered that Thel was actually a crucial part of Halo's identity between 2004 and 2010

Halo 4’s BTB wasn’t that bad, I found it to be more fun because you get to play with the weapons and vehicles more than often as well as ordinances
