It's moreso that, hey, this is a game that was released, now it's not going to be accessible. I'm against that in general.

I think bad or poorly received games deserve preservation just as much as the good ones.

It’s not a revolutionary shooter by any means but it’s on par with OW. Kinda feels like Destiny x OW. They were going to do weekly cinematics revolving around the crew

Knowing it took 8 yrs kinda sums up its failure. It should have released 6-7 yrs ago to actually have a shot at competing in the hero shooter space

Not being f2p was one of those ways they wanted to be player friendly by minimizing microtransactions. I don't think it would have been a sustainable long term business model, but they tried.

Unfortunately, attempting to get people to stick with it for the long life of a game-as-a-service = persuading people that their network will also be making the jump...which is $40 harder to get people to do than if it was free.

I mean Titanfall 2 is pretty fast and you'll get melee a bunch of times in match

If I can sprint backwards, it means I can move at the same speed as the guy sprinting toward me.

So sprint-melee, i.e. 'enemy sprints, melees, you melee, they kill' is more avoidable.

and then there's tac sprint (I think that's what it's called) which iirc is only when moving forward

H5's thrusters gave some of that functionality, and it made firefights gunfights [synonym to avoid confusion with the mode] more fun with a potential for deeper dueling strategy. I loved it.

I don't think advance movement rly played into h5 gameplay well. It was there but like it didn't do anything to accommodate it. They just slapped this in a Halo gameplay style and called it a day
