This is exactly my plight. I want an upgrade but it makes more sense to just wait and build a new machine with the 5000 series gpus

I'm due for a CPU upgrade, I'm on a 3700x still, and I'd like to upgrade to a 7800x3d to give myself headroom for the subsequent upgrade. But I'm on an AM4 mbu and would need an AM5, so already that's 2 new parts and I'm taking the whole PC apart when I do that. Then I want a GPU upgrade from the 3080, but the 4080 isn't worth the price and the sidegrade options have new power connectors or something, so I might even need a new PSU if I want to upgrade my GPU. So two upgrades just turned into 4 upgrades, and that's 2/3rds of the computer right there if you only consider RAM and storage as the other pieces and I'm never getting rid of my storage, and my RAM is perfectly good

So basically I think I build a whole new computer and let this one chill as half of a streaming PC setup or a guest PC or something and just get a 2tb nvme for it

Fun fact, there were cheaters in Infinite during the first flights/betas - not the release beta - but to be fair that was before any anti cheat was put in place.

343 seems to only be able to ban based on manual tickets nowadays. At least they do that now though, big progress over the years!

Yes but the difference is that in CS, it's a lot more player involved. You're not just reviewing video- it's like watching a theatre mode match in Halo where the game re-processes all of the inputs so it's an exact recreation of what the server saw and you can see it with x-ray and everything. BUT. The names are all censored so that you don't know who is who, you just get "Suspected Cheater" or something like that.

And it's not your footage. Other peoples' footage gets made available to review and the trusted players review it then send it off.

I just discovered a QoL feature in win 11.
You know how there is a dumb double menu no when you right click on something to view the file properties and such? Well to permantly get it to the old menu you need to edit your registry. At work I don't have those admin rights and I'm not going to bother the IT guy for a simple registry change...

Imo, Customs with Ranked settings is a way better warmup for Ranked, even just against bots
