Most folk would generally recommend playing in the order the games orignally released, it's a bit less jarring and easier to move through and the tech and features in games gets better

Get the Master Chief Colletion, which is a colleciton of 6 Halo games, and start from the first one - Halo CE

Halo Infinite's multiplayer is free, although the campaign is fairly expensive, but its not a bad one to get, just to try out the franchise
The MCC is a tad expensive, although it goes on sale often for around 10 bucks, and has all the older Halo's (excluding 5), so you can play all the games in order

From there, you can move through the other games in order: Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo Reach and Halo 4

I get between 500 and 3.5k score average a match in Husky, and I average 5.5k a match in Firefight, for only slightly longer matches sometimes
