They killed Tango that made hi-fi rush which swept gaming awards last year and even had an Easter Egg hinting at the development of Evil Within 3.
Even if they weren't planning Evil Within 3, shuttering a studio mere months after it took home several rewards kinda points to Microsoft fundamentally not caring about games beyond a financial bottom line.

It kinda hard to say the microsoft acquisitions have contributed anything positive in the last 4 years now. They kinda just scooped a bunch of in-development games to be exclusives and then killed their makers.
