Some bugs can't/aren't found until a mass amount of players are playing it in ways they weren't aware of creating an issue. Playtesting unfortunately can only go so far and won't be able to catch all critical bugs

Alot of the bugs I see are things they could of found by themselves, if the games are huge franchises they could find sooo many people to playtest them with NDAs signed there should be 0 excuses

Gaming today has a lot more layers and complications than it used to in the past with more ways to go wrong quickly.
It's why smaller simpler Indy games seem to have less problems because they aren't creating on the large scale expected of bigger titles

On the very first day of school that I had them, I set them down next to my books on the floor in order to grab my hardcase in which I protected my precious glasses. In those like 2 seconds, some kid stepped right on them and the frames broke. Since the lenses were not broken, I had to wear those warped glasses and superglue the frame every so often to keep it together...until my next pair of glasses in high school.

MJOLNIR's shields are typically stronger than the games depict, with the plating itself past the shielding proofing against small arms fire up to plasma decently well outside of extreme circumstances. Marines typically can survive one or two hits by plasma to the plates but are in trouble past that. Elite shielding, especially for lower ranks, is lucky to survive a five round burst of an AR's shots, with the elite under likely not making it much further either.

In The Flood, which is the canon depiction of the events, Chief finds a shotgun at the crashed Pelican outside the facility and picks it up.
