I absolutely agree with you there. Ive been playing since halo ce and love all the bungie games, but 343 has done some good things too. I especially love Infinite’s campaign (although I wish there was more). 5 is a stinker imo but 4 had some really good elements too. Im not one of those people stuck in the past. What do you mean by marketing? Retailers will typically advertise Sony and Nintendo more, as marketshare in non-US territories are low. Xbox has a 30% share globally, and a 20% in Europe.

@round laurel like, marketing, tv spot, adv etc, in europe Sony has Champions League ADV which is huge, and people still dont know what is gamepass, trust me

Oh right. Yeah, I can't comment on that personally, I don't watch ads or TV.

But in Ireland, anecdotally speaking, I don't know anyone that plays on Xbox or talks about Gamepass. It's anecdotal, so worthless, but still.

Also, it’s been said before but people simply don’t have a reason to buy Xbox. If you can get it on PC as well what’s the point of Xbox

I don't think that's necessarily an issue though. The folk that are playing on PC aren't the people MS is targetting with their consoles.

Also, if we're going by Steam's hardware survey, people have underpowered devices. The consoles are great value for money in terms of the performance you get.

And that leads into the next problem, why get Xbox when PS has better originals and exclusives? Most of the cross platform games are on there as well

I understand your point, but 'better exclusives' are subjective. I don't think it's crazy to say that Sony lack exclusive MP focused games, while Xbox tend to churn more out. Furthermore, at least at this point in time, Gamepass is superior to Sony's equivelant service, as they release exclusives day one.
