Yeah exactly this. I'd be fine paying to unlock shaders and camo patterns to apply however I wanted, the current system sucks.

Unfortunately they're super unlikely to change it as they made contractual agreements with third parties to lease them unique colours to sell. I.e. if they promised a brand a specific infinite shader combo whenever they sold an item they can't just go and revoke that.

Hi. 343 hasn't announced any plans to build or release any kind of Battle Royale mode - hasn't been anything in development so far. The closest they released was a new mode called Last Spartan Standing. The Halo community have built varioud BR modes and maps using Forge. You can find them in the Custom Games browser or have a search on YouTube, you'll find some showcase videos that usually have the map and modes linked in the decription
