I will say sometimes it can be tiring because you have to constantly be on and it can feel like there is almost no breathing room in a match to gather your thoughts. If you're up against a good team, one slip up can be punishing. In that regard I do wish some of the maps were ever so slightly larger so it didn't feel like we were on top of each other all the time. Maybe that contributes to the sweaty feeling?

I used to be really bad with Mouse and Keyboard and could only play games like Left 4 Dead 2 since it didn't require much aim practice but games like Halo were out of the question since I wasn't used to the controls. Time and practice are your best teachers for getting better

i'm not sure, but most of my deaths are due to those rather than having hand cannon/pulse rifle duels. if you miss one shot on a shotgunner running up to you, you're usually dead if there's no teammates to help

weird, played 10 straight ranked matches in Infinite with 40ms ping. this one just now was 150 suddenly and very laggy. my net was fine, maybe it was the server?

There were guns that were actually specifically good at shutting down shotgunners from within their range area like Last Word but I heard they nerfed that pretty decently so I'm not sure if it's still as good as it was in short to medium combat.

And Destiny gunplay actually really nice the problem is they've just made the game a chore to get stuff now then couple in with the fact that they put most of their attention into the cash shop and how to cut up the content and make you pay more for Less.

Sure Halo infinite is monetized but not as bad as destiny 2.

you don't really have to buy anything, you can find so many good weapons by killing others or looting bases

and then you can also find materials to mod those weapons

using a higher fov can help, but overall it's just a slow game and using projectile aiming didn't help. mlg had to raise the movement speed to 110%.
