They've typically swung between bear and gorilla in the face between each game. I assume the decision in Wars 2 and Infinite to go for a more Simian facial structure was to make them more expressive and readable in cinematics.

As the brutes in 3 really only had one expression ever, while the brutes in 2 emoted more and had flatter snouts both in classic and anniversary- and actually had character roles in 2.

By the way, a neat accidental discovery I made with 4x1 Ikea shelves: placing lighting on top gives a sort of lighted pillar look that is neat in addition to functional.

Others didn't. Personally, I think they just should've let the clipping fly and have the entire Spartan still armored everywhere there wasn't floody bits and had the sword be treated as an infected-mode only weapon.

I think everyone would appreciate halo 5 on Mcc, but let’s be real; how? How is 343 going to figure out how to handle the multiplayer section? How is the req system gonna work? Are they gonna keep spartan points and have a new pass for halo 5 armour and customisation? Or will they rehaul the entire process for getting armour? What are they gonna do with req packs? How will the war zone playlist work? Will there even be war zone? How are they going to address storage space?

I would love to have halo 5 on mcc, but there is no real solution right now for it.

I like how the first thing anyone ever jumps to on the how is on the side with the MTX, and not the technical side. Which is by far the bigger hurdle.

Getting Warzone and stuff to work, MTX side, is child's play by comparison.

If it were on MCC it likely wouldn't even be much of a question-either another 'pass' situation (Unlikely because there are around 200-400 items from memory) or giving most of them to the players for free, with top tier stuff being in a pass, or just giving it all away anyways.

And REQ variants would likely best be handled by going 'screw it, give everyone unlimited REQs'.

But the actual tech side-the full port, the whole campaign, making it work on its own without even MCC? We don't even know the level of documentation that went into Halo 5 Forge's port as consumers, but I doubt that team is still working on the same projects or under the same company or even in the same city over 5 years later.

Half the issue with Infinite's open world is that it doesn't really do anything special with it. It's a nice idea, but it's not really utilized in a way that matters. You don't notice the flaw as quickly in ODST because ODST's open world is more compact and full of unavoidable opfor encounters, which makes it feel more like a regular Halo level.

But ODST's open world really has some of the same issues.

but all the open world missions were exactly the same. I remember them talking about attacking a banished outpost at night and I thought that would change up the gameplay quite a bit.. but nope :/

Well if you're not working the next 3 weeks it's possible, but I would take my time and enjoy: truly one of the great examples of old-fashioned choice-driven storytelling with very strong character development. It's one of those gaming experiences that leaves a mark on your life as a gamer. I hope you get to play it.

With the grapple, it's only really a problem in campaign if you decide to make it a problem for yourself. You have the freedom to choose how you want to play.

Right now im hunting down cult members and upgrading my spear, in attika rn💪 did some side missions like Kofu island and got some very good engravings thats tripled all damages, one shot bow for up to two levels more than my level
