The Series S has a CPU comparable to Series X and PS5 though. In split screen you are rendering the same amount of pixels so it's not much more GPU intensive. It's the GPU where the S is signficantly less powerful

the slightly lower clock speeds on the S's CPU aren't going to rule out splitscreen, like i said worse case its locked to 30

To give you an example Gears 5 has 30fps split screen on One X despite otherwise supporting 60fps. For One S it is 30fps regardless. Irdk why Boulders gate 3 wouldn't do splitscreen locked to 30fps for the S, maybe they just can't be bothered

And it's not like Spencer has a choice but to give them an exception for the feature parity. It's worse for Xbox if Series X lacks parity with PS5

I did get MCC working awhile ago (on my Steam Deck)

maybe Infinite will play better on my Steam Deck than on my PC

just going outside as plants are spewing out pollen makes my entire head itch its so bad

Long story short; It's a Halo 3 Plothole, don't think too hard about it.

It's the one game in the entire franchise that people are supposed allowed to overlook the many, many, many bad moments and gaping plotholes of.

Reloading wasn't even a popular mechanic in most shooters until the late 90s/early aughts.

Massive marketing scheme, oodles of nostalgia, was the reason a lot of people bought their 360s. With the benefit of hindsight, it's a lot less obvious than it was that it was... Not that great of a game in the greater spectrum.

Halo 3 changing the Prophet of Truth's voice still bothers me to this day, that alone could be a plothole at least in my book.

People forget because MCC has stupid good PR now, but H2A/MCC and Halo 5 were tied together pretty tight when they launched

Still wish Halo 5 got a similar glowup and port.

Halo 2 Anniversary was part of Halo MCC when it originially released in 2014. This included new cutscenes that bookended Halo 2's campaign. When they released Halo 2 Anniversary on PC, they changed it so those two bookend cutscenes are no longer played at the start and end of the game respectively, but can still be viewed via the extras menu
