Sorry to bring up a random topic but I have a question has anyone been banned for one month before for apparently cheating, even though you or they didn’t or is this just me because at the moment I have no idea what to do since I slowly improved on Halo infinite and now I’m accused of cheats and banned which confuses me because it means if I play and get good I get banned?

Any advice would be helpful since I’m loosing my will to play Halo after this and I have played every halo for the last 16-17 years and I really don’t want to leave halo, but I don’t want to play and get good only to be banned.

Thing is there are many games I did terrible in or not good in not just good it always depended on who I was up against I am not a new player to halo and I’m not bad, when we see people from hcs or YouTube make these amazing kills no one questions it, because I am more than willing to go down to 343 if they invite me so I can show them that is my skill set because last year I played Xbox as a plat player then I started getting help from an onyx player and was entering diamond player skill range and once I swapped to pc because I’m my opinion pc is better for accuracy I improved massively and in a short amount of time since mouse an keyboard is easy so is it suspicious yea but not allowing a guy to defend himself or prove it is just completely out of line in my opinion since we all should have the right to defend ourselves when accused of something as bad as cheating

Did infinite change rank progression? I played 2 games lost 1 and won the other but points lost vs won are unbalanced. I lose 12 points for going 7K 11D 8A . And I only gain 4 points for going 22K 15D 6A. Is this what to expect for ranked now. I feel that before you were rewarded more points for performing well?

There’s a fairly high skill ceiling in halo, and players tend to reach that ceiling after awhile. Most halo players are people who grew up with it, or fans, not a lot of casual people just looking for something to play. (Although there is definitely a chunk of the player base that are casual, the competitive players tend to outshine them wildly.)

I would LOVE an event themed after Halo CE. The mode is legacy CE style, so no sprint, etc. They introduce Blood Gulch, the cosmetics for the 10-tiers are all legacy style.
