its not so cut and dry with halo 2. Halo ce the original graphics are definately better. Halo 2 is a faithful recreation of the original game, but with updated graphics. So concerning the look, id go with H2A. Just know that when it gets dark in h2a, you literally cant see anything. darker sections of the map should be played on classic graphics so you can actually see what you're doing. Another thing is music. they completely redid the soundtrack. Some of the songs are better, some are worse, and some are just different. Depends on what you want in terms of that.

for example, heretic hero is better than its remake. just the first 5 seconds make it very evident. Genesong in the remake is better than Reclaimer in the original. Impend and Impart both are good and just give off different vibes, despite impart being a remake of impend.

having that said you wont really know which song is which, and which is better than the other unless you listen to the soundtracks side by side or constantly swap graphics

the music stuff is just a bunch of extra stuff you just notice after playing the game over a few times, dont worry about that. play it on whatever version you like, then swap and play through it on the other graphics whenever you feel like it. the music for both is great, but isnt really a deciding factor when chosing which graphics

You will see some areas that make you wanna swap back and forth just to compare old and new, and they look great in both. The only thing that is objectively better in the new graphics is the cutscenes. everything else is up to personal taste at the end of the day

Play halo wars 2. Infinite picks up its story more or less. warning, it can be pay to win. Guardians is the worst for story and you literally don't need it to understand anything in infinite. only play halo 5 story if you can get 3 other friends to join you and you all get drunk, assuming your of legal drinking age. you'll have more fun team killing each other than actually engaging the story.

most of the current weapon variants we have today in infinite, are awful. most guns are barely even better if not worse than the original. When i hear the word Ultra, Im flashbacking to explosives, explosive ammunitions', explosions everywhere, coming straight from the menaces that were the ultra banshee, ultra ghost, and ultra wraiths, seeing white struck fear.

i can barely think of any infinite variants that are better than the original, lets see, hmm, scatterbound, the backdraft cindershot, calcine disrupter (although its less powerful than it was formerly), rushdown hammer, diminsher of hope(barely), Both energy swords (obvious reasons), m41 tracker, pinpoint needler (although im pretty sure its just a copy and paste from 5), and maybe the piercing shockrifle, and of course cant forget the beam machine arcane sentinal beam. well nvm thats a good portion, but the ones that suck are so underwhelming, like i dont even understand what the point of them were.
