In my less than humble opinion BTS is the weak link in the series. It has some good moments, but doesn't really stack up to the others. 2 is divisive. I liked it and thought it was a good journey to go on, but a lot of people didn't like the way the narrative was told. True Colors is the second best in the series imo. You could probably count Tell me why as one as it fits in all but name.

There was this old raggedy book I had that had a ton of artwork in it by Chris Foss, including a picture of a triangular-shaped ship not too different from an Imperial Star Destroyer.

Thing is-that art by Chriss Foss was actually made 3 years before Star Wars episode IV came out.

Battletech actually has rules for that sort of naval engagement. It was actually pretty common outside of direct planetary engagements.

The warships in question would set up entire calender days to perform a single proper firing solution.

What's amusing is, Battletech also played a certain trick that Greg Bear played near the end of his Forerunner series.

Long story short, one faction had to invade its own homeworld after they installed an AI-controlled warship fleet for in-system combat.

Stellaris - one of my favorite games right now - takes a lot of inspiration from a lot of different places

Only difference was that those ships in Battletech didn't have the dead crews of Forerunners getting turned to paste during high-speed combat manuevers.

There’s a crisis called the Contingency where if you have sapient AI combat systems in your ships, they’ll all turn against you

They also added a devolving beam in the last update which i’m pretty sure was directly based off the Forerunners

I should note that Halo usually prefers to portray fleet engagements as being largely static affairs, but individual (read; Narratively important) ships tend to descend into point blank range to 'brawl'.

Battletech's was a bit different in that the SDS was hacked and there was a military coup involved, so it was ultimately human versus human.

But then, Halo also loves to depict enemy ships being slow and/or static enough that they kinda just... Get rammed. All the time.

Like, the only exception to weirdly static ramming victims was legitimately the Infinity ripping that little frigate(?) in half at the start of Spartan Ops, and even then that little ship wasn't actually trying to dodge, it kinda just couldn't manuever out of the path that led to it getting battering rammed.

It also has this weird fixation on refusing to use autonomous drone networks of one variety or another that aren't ancient forerunner tech.

(Yes, I know the Wombat exists, but it also doesn't really do anything.)

All I did and I’m not promising this will work but all you need to do is check ur console for dust that’s the first thing I did,then restart it,if it still doesn’t work you might want to check your tv smth might be off abt that
