It's natural to feel that. Something that often helps me in anxious situations is to actually experience the thing I fear and then to realize that it doesn't seriously impact my life. So if your streak ends, then you can see how your life is still fine, Halo gunplay is still fun, and challenges will still be there to fulfill. Nothing serious is lost by doing poorly in multiplayer. And people here support you and want the best for you!

Hey, I just wanna say I really appreciate that. My gripes with the game are in combination of a variety of different angles. I understand the position that I’m feeling… quite well. It’s a combination of frustration and anger and said anxiety I was talking about. There’s a bit too much for me to articulate but for the most part, the challenges are completely irrelevant. I’m just stating that up and forefront. I started enjoying the gameplay with the sniper surprisingly. Genuine enjoyment. But then matchmaking, it scares me. And I’ll leave it at that. I just feel the variables for infinite are very tailored. And I feel like an outlier.

I don’t know what I can do that can fix {something} but I can’t stop think and analyzing and reviewing the game and I just can’t find an entry point. It just doesn’t feel right in subtle ways.

I want to be positive with the game. And they are definitely making progress. I truly appreciate the work the employees are putting in and oh Lord in heaven is the art style is definitely one of its own and looks amazing.

It’s like I can’t help but point out what’s bad and dislike but there’s just this urge to want to enjoy it.

Pretty much. The math that determines MMR in H5 is the same exact code used in H3, I believe most of that transferred to Infinite as well

I’m not saying that the skill based match making is bad, but it’s just the variables in infinite are different from the previous halo games. I have less margin to crack a few jokes and clear incentive to play for that competitive rush. I want to drive around to enemy teammates on a chceeky rampage on my own team, only to drive them off a cliff and do the reverse on them. Its like the seriousness allowed the comedy to come out. Versus this game you can try to honk your horn. Seriously add somebody and they spend 30 second shooting at you and missing until you die.
