First thing’s first, make sure you’ve got the games you wish to play downloaded. From there, on the main menu screen it’s the first option called Campaign.

Here, you can pick which game you’d like to play and what mission you’d like to do along with various settings such as the time and scoring HUD, difficulties and skulls.

As for playlists, each game has an option at the bottom called Playlists that contain a number of specifically picked levels from that chosen title compiled into a playlist. Some are thematic (the CE playlist “A New Threat” is a playlist with only levels that include the Flood), while others are full campaigns, some of which are tied to achievements (LASO campaign playlist).

Additionally there’s an option at the bottom when selecting a game called “Cross-Game Playlist”. It’s basically the same thing as the other playlists, however these ones include levels across all available games on MCC (Flooded includes all levels with the Flood, not just CE like the previously mentioned playlist).

MCC is just poorly optimised for PC. My PC can run BF1 at max settings 80fps+ 1440p yet will stutter above 60fps in Halo Reach.

Saber3D's overhead is nothing compared to switching from Halo 2C to Halo 2A visuals though. 2C campaign will run well on anything remotely modern.

running a graphics engine over the top of an existing engine is never going to be as efficient as the same visuals baked into the engine. Even if you couldnt switch graphics on the fly, i dont think the Xbox One was hitting 1080p in Halo 2A

I recall Halo 2AMP and Halo 4 running pretty bad on my Xbox One S
