you can safely up a monitors refresh rate above 60 until it cant support it but you have to use a program called CRU

Vsync isn't as good a solution as driver level frame limiting

the only alternative to vsync for 60hz is AMD/Nvidia's own "low latency anti-tear" alternative

which basically does the same thing as vsync but lets your FPS go above your refresh rate

Loading bars in general are a lie and mainly serve as a way to let you know something is still happening so you don't do something to interrupt it

You can shoot them with a rocket hog, sniper rifle, shock rifle, hydra, banshee, tank, dynamo nade; or you can hijack it with a grapple. That's 8 things you can do but instead you try to go get in a gunfight with someone and die to it again and then come on discord to say you can't counter a vehicle

Could it be that your MMR is matching your skill level? What's your W/L in those 20 games. Your K/D? If you are being evenly matched you would expect to go K/D above 1.0 in half, and K/D below 1.0 in half, to leave you with a K/D around 1.0.

Are you playing a lot with mates? Generally people who travel along with W/L < 50% and or a K/D < 1.0 are playing regularly with slightly higher ranked mates.

But if your W/L has settled back towards 50% then you should be ok?

Theoretically you could maintain a higher MMR through your KPM, despite losing, but that would be very hard to maintain over a long period.

I usually get 1 or 2 diamonds or onyx's in my games. Almost every game which is odd

You could just be unlucky with your spot in the queue. Diamonds and Onyx players (including squads) don't have enough matches - so high Plats tend to get pulled into the matches.

Some pockets of ranks seem to be more affected than others. And if you are constantly being dragged into those matches - you are going to have a lower win % and a much lower K/D.

But because you aren't "expected" to win - your MMR isn't going to be hurt by the loss.

Normally the MM would see you in good form and find you some games vs higher gold or low platinum. But if that segment of the population is thin (people giving up on Ranked until next season) then you don't get that chance. You are dragged up into a higher weight class. 😦
