I'll be honest Halo Infinite is a dead Game, but it's not going to be better than an OK game.

At least from what I have seen.

It won't bring back the day 1 population, a large majority of those players moved on and found other games to occupy their time.

I think if they have another game on the way, that one may Deliver at least there exist a chance for them to build on what works well with Halo infinite and sort of Compensate for what didn't work.

But Halo Infinite has spent a good 1.5 years coming up on the 2 yr mark just catching up to Day2- Season 1 expectations that were expected from the Triple A Flagship IP game for Microsoft.

But with the amount of work to go in and essentially recode so Much stuff is like them trying to of be d Tungsten steel, meanwhile they have to introduce New content.

If a tough thing to do given what they are working with..

So At best it's going to be a OK game.thats most likely going to be carried By Forge creations mostly.

I don't think not will be Day 1 population but it could be a solid sustainable one if they really deliver.. but again they really are between a rock and hard space, dealing with an game engine that the tools don't seem to be caught up, and all the underline issues.built into the game..

They have essentially been resigning the game while simultaneously trying to add more content. God okay knows what that does to the stability of the game itself.

For me One aspect of Halo was the story and the Immersion that's why Halo Reach was the one Halo Game that resonated with me, the story was amazing and the Immersion was begining to be ahead of it's time.

I would really like to see more story cutscenes with our Spartan and hopefully 343 can deliver on that whole expanding the academy and really locking in too the whole Our Spartans Story.

There's not much depth to friendly collision being there or not. It does bother me when it applies to explosive weapons that aren't grenades though.

I feel like there should be a one Spartan "safety" distance where explosives ignore allies.

The only thing it removes is getting caught in doorways by allies, which is an intolerably frustrating issue.

So When do you guys speculate Halo Infinite will feel like the complete game, 343 wanted it to be.

Honestly for me It's the PVE and Cross core customization that will really catch my interested.

In Halo Reach I would play mostly BTB, but jump into Firefight and swap out different armor for my Spartan... And go play a Campaign mission.

PVE is also a great way to re introduce Assassination.. I still don't think it would do well in MP but for PVE it would be epic... Question is could they program the game to have a PVE assassination button but keep MP PVP the way it is.

I will say though, that 343 went through a huge restructure, and massive layoffs, the people who originally built this game, are mostly not theri anymore.

So I have come to accept that the issues may still be present 4 yrs from now. And possibly more may arise with each update.

But they can't scrap the whole thing and start fresh, and they can't justify the cost at this moment

the ONLY way I think about it which makes any sense to me is that at least there's enough premium currency on the BP to buy the next one and I get lots of event stuff. But all that is still me "feeding the whales" so it's equitable to 343i so I am not "winning". But I have spent $40 on Halo I and that's all they're getting.

which i was tryna do because AMD's performance FSR preset is 786p

its weird how you can resize the game to be any resolution you want in regular maximised mode, but as soon as you go borderless it just forces the window to be 810 pixels tall

Maybe it does. Problem with halo infinite is that you can’t really earn anything(outside of weekly rewards and events but to be honest weekly rewards aren’t worth grind imo) for free. Perfect scenario would be if we would be getting new content for free, we had option to earn credits for free(even some small amount of them) and microtransactions would be just to speed up this grind. And also if coatings were just patterns and if we could change colors of them. But we all know that it won’t happen because it would most likely decrease their revenue. Can anyone help me understand the gravity hammer? It seems like the windup is too slow and the red reticle range is too short to make it effective

Also the Disruptor. Ik they patched it heavily in the latest update but now it confuses me even more. I was unaware of the supercombine effect until the update

There is an inner ring of clouds, I can say that much. you see it pretty much any time you look up in a map when you're on the Ring. Im pretty sure from a far aswell you see this? like from the Pillar of Autumns POV at the start of CE. The rings are massive so being on one looking outside of the ring you mostly just see more land

The Day cycle is pretty simple, a Halo is always stationed orbiting a planet. So it is night when the ring circles around to the opposite side of the planet from the Sun. Basically when the planet eclipses the sun from the ring's point of view.

they would need to make Quick Play support both 4v4 and 5v5 which is probably not easy but man it would be nice

if you remove regular weapon pads from the map and set the primary weapon to the bandit and secondary to AR the bots are quite fun to play against

if you dont disable pads and make bandit primary they will just shoot at you at range with any random weapon, they dont understand which weapons have range and which dont

pre nerf commando was so fun and it would be nice to have an actual usable variant of the commando in MP and campaign

literally have the tuning, just apply it to the weapon and we can forget launch impact commando ever existed
