#Add timer for turning radar back on

For a while SEAD has had some issues, it works well at times, but players can just click on and off to cheese it. I don't think there should be a timer to turn off the radar, as that would make AA to vulnerable but I do think there should be maybe a 5-10 second one to turning them back on. Otherwise you can just switch it off and wait for the plane to circle and immediately turn it back on.

Also since we added a packup timer to arty, what about heavier AA units, im not proposing this as I think the radar switch issue is priority so if you thumbs up or down ignore this part but id like to know people's thoughts on adding a unpack/packup timer to SAMs, it makes sense as they are heavy support units that need to set up, but I understand it might be to unbalanced.

Yeah, radar AA definitely needs a cooldown to being turned on and SEAD missiles need range increases. Currently SEAD is completely harmless if the opponent has >1 IQ and either acts as a sponge for the bombers or as recon for artillery (if you have it).

I support it because this makes SEAD more relevant. If this change is added you can't press Hotkey-H to shoot a missile up the plane's ass and get a kill with it. However I think 5-10s is extremely long and a shorter value of 3-5s is better. This is to prevent people just flying aircraft deep into enemy lines without being punished for it. But 5-10s would turn a lot of divisions which rely on long-range AA into dead meat if they face SEAD because Eugen thinks shotgun fighters are worth a damn without AA

Yeah, I think about 5 seconds is probably fine. Gives the plane time to fly away and not let you shoot it in the back without disabling AA for too long.

5 sec delay for radars to turn on + 20 pts price increase for all SEAD planes might be actually great.
