Didn’t they already do that - they got rid of the back zones and made it play even more narrower XD

My hot-take on the map was something like this.
This way Airborne players could hold the more narrower north, and mech players could play to their advantage in the more spread out south.
The middle would have no zones and be more of a No-Man’s Land where it’s mostly used to try and out flank the other player and cut his supply lines to his other points.
