These two divisions are very boring to play in my opinion. They contain most basic tools all other divs have. All unicorn units were taken away. (Except the fast t880, which is pretty cool imo) And 39th literally requires a buff at this point.
Please give some uniqueness to these two old divisions

I'm pretty sure 39th is supposed to be THE basic soviet div. If you have issues playing a classic div without any pronounced "Unicorn units", then you can literally just play any other div.

79 is still OP and 39 is still over nerfed. Very minor changes would be a good idea but nothing dramatic

Maybe the air tabs could be diversified more. The two x9-ya divs have a lot of overlap in the department with all the fencer versions

^ su-24 EW to 79ya and have 39ya have the wider options for the Air tab with 79 being more of a heavy mech div on the ground with su/25/su-24 for the air

39y is fine as it is IMO, it let's you to try out many of Soviet equipment you can use further (in other decks), the only negative thing about it - slots are too expensive sometimes

The slots were nerfed at one point when it was OP. It should get it's 1 point slot from the heli tab moved back to the tank tab.

I could think of good AA tab, VERY expensive tank/heli tab and generic arty [btw Uragans are possibly worst MLRS right now]
I agree with ppl saying we need 'standard USSR mech div' to be represented in a game. Problem is it is weak and really upsetting and Mi-24VP can't save that

It went from a BMP-2 division with 2 cards of BMP-3s to a BMP-1 division with 2 cards of BMP-2s and lost 3 cards of T-62s. I also lost one of it's 1 point tank slots to the heli tab.
Actually the old T-80Bs were 14 FAV and about 190 for a 9/6/4 card

I think, having no mid range tank was a huge nerf to 39th
