I was able to figure out making the minimap, but for some reason when I try to make an image with the same settings as the existing image for the Preview.png (512x512, 24bit depth), the baking says it couldn't find Preview.tgv? What am I missing when making these? Also- what is the Overview.png and sdb.png?

I swear it's taking me longer to export this map than it took to build it :C, the manual is just not helpful for this part

puh, usually the Preview.tgv is created by LaunchGeneration.bat automatically during the baking process? First time for me hearing of >this< problem ;D

The Preview.png btw is the picture people see when in lobby -> clicking on map selection, the big one.

Overview.png is the one they see for selected map while sitting inside the lobby

sdb.png is a tool you can use (but dont have to) to remove trees/vegetation etc at certain map locations. Mostly obsolete since the use of no veg zones within the editor is much ... easier? to do ๐Ÿ™‚

Also, 512x512 sounds like a 1 tile map, for testing and getting a feel thats nice, but consider anything below 2x1 (already critical) or rather 2x2 unplayably small ๐Ÿ™‚

ok, well, now I've got a new problem, the image is just hanging out of the side. Cropping it down doesn't help, and the baking doesn't work with an alpha channel

Its hanging on the side to let you have some polaroid-style vignettes

ok, but how do I get the image to fit if I don't want those?

wtf, it failed to bake when I added the alpha channel

If you dont want those, just leave a transparent margin on right hand side
