You have clearly not seen what happens to infantry when a single mi-24, cobra or even a simple mi-17 with gunpods meet your infantry in forest.

Those mg boxes are your gunship repellents. There is nothing more cost-effective than that in keeping Hinds away.

Shitboxes are fine in the current meta if not slightly overpriced though? You trade up the sellable truck for a cheap fire support piece that is there to tip infantry fights and is very capable if employed in that manner. It’s worse than an IFV, yes, but it’s universally cheaper too.

There is a lot of price compression. BTRs should be 25 points but they are noticeably better than VABs so they are at 30 points.

In any case I have been using them as sentrys around towns and they do a fantastic job at sorting out infantry

This balance suggestion ruffles a lot of feathers. I think instead a solution for not wanting apc spam on the AI side when you're fighting them is to make decks for them that don't use such transports.
