Dutch Army have weapons with incendiary capabilities ? , the answer is yes
Which incendiary weapons do you think they used?
https://cat-uxo.com/explosive-hazards/grenades/no-80-hand-grenade
They also have some old no.77
Do you have any proof of that? They were long replaced by the Smoke WP nr. 23
Or incendiary nr. 12. Then again not exactly "flame weapons" the way the game has them.
Oh thank you for letting me know that , have no idea, i dont even know for sure what the British used in Falkland.
So they have 2 kinds of smoke and 1 kind of smoke phosphorus, i suppose the phosphorus are meant to kill right ?
Phosphorus was just meant for smoke. Wasn't even issued to infantry battalions. Incendiaries exist primarily to disable vehicles if they can't be recovered.
So UK has wp grenade so it could come back?
Yes they should , the 1950s flamethrower for Nato make no fk sense and noone use them while Uk and Nederland have no incendiary infantry
Eugen doesn't really do grenades.
They did all the way back in EE days but they just ended up being too finicky.
i see they do it pretty well in SD2
They had wp grenades in sd2
but they make it look like napalm which is suck
Well the grenade mechanic is still present in
, it's just used for the satchel charge (and the smoke grenade).
To me equipping a WP grenade is more suggestive of shock trait, than getting lit up with a flamethrower or god forbid an RPO Schmel.
And obviously more suggestive than satchel bags by so called "eNgINeEr"
Idk how come they do this so flawless in SD2 and decided to not bring them to
+1
Remove all the flamethrowers and leave the nations with the RPO equivalents as flavour.
And yes a thermite grenade is 1/10th the size of any of the incendiary rockets, quite apart from the range.
What about the nations that have flamethrowers in service?
Such as?
Poland, France, Switzerland, probably Albania, Italy, Japan...
we need squad level grenade launchers
guys i regret making this
No reason to, the question has come up before and it's good to have a discussion about that is possible. I have doubts that anyone was still using flame throwers even if they still had them in their inventory and the question of the UK and Dutch being disadvantaged is a good one.
