Spetsgruppa A wasnt exactly known for "Punk Rockers" or being a spy/civilian clothed unit. To give them A punk rock skin is like actually insane. They should be a Good Infantry Unit with really good CQB.
Making a unit like that for PACT would be cool, but to force Alpha Group to be that unit is definitely a decision. and not a good one especially with punk rockers instead of only dudes in suits.
The PSH-77 or Tig helmet was basically the staple of Alpha Group

It’s just wrong, not about it having false flag, it’s about Alpha Group being portrayed properly instead of in some weird inaccurate way.
KGB Spies might have punk rockers in Berlin under the First Directorate, but Alpha Group fuck no, they are high risk Tier One spetsnaz sent in to take out high value targets, and clean up messes that never should’ve existed. BUT they do it in uniform 90% of the time.
Realistically they should’ve never given the guards regiment Tig/PSH-77 style helmets and 6b3 style body armors, Alpha Group is the poster boy of the PSH-77(Earliest Altyn Style Helmet). and almost nobody else wore them. For good fucking reason too the helmet with the visor weighed almost 10 fucking pounds(3.5-4kg) which is extremely unlikely for any normal infantry to be using/wearing.
Alpha Group is unmatched in their CQB potential, and training. They aren’t like Western SF where they go in stealthily to take out targets before they know what hit them, they are more of a Extremely fast and LOUD CQB, highly armored Spetsnaz unit that was deployed when failure wasn’t an option. When Alpha Group was coming to get you, you knew you were going to die and you knew it was them
